About Us

Welcome to Gentle Vet Animal Hospital!

Gentle Vet Animal Hospital, formerly known as Brown County Veterinary Hospital, was originally established in 1970.  We are a full service veterinary clinic for all pets.  We care for dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, small mammals, and other exotic pets.  Our doctors and staff also look after the animals at the Northeast Wisconsin Zoo (NEW Zoo) and the Bay Beach Wildlife Sanctuary.
Our mission is to work with the community for the betterment of animal well-being.  We serve pets and their people with compassion and provide the highest quality of medical care possible.  We provide financial and in-kind support to many organizations, including: Bay Area Humane Society, Bay Beach Wildlife Sanctuary, R-PAWS, New Zoo, Dalmatian Rescue, Weimeraner Rescue, Northeast Wisconsin Service Dogs, and UW Companion Animal Fund.
