About You

Are you a talented multitasker who loves interacting with people? We’re looking for a positive and professional receptionist to be the face of our local business.

You’ll welcome visitors, clients, and fellow employees, answer phone calls and emails, sort and deliver mail, schedule meetings, and assist us with other operations as needed.

Qualifications

  • Must have graduated high school, and received a G.E.D. or equivalent.
  • Has previous experience with word processing programs and basic computer skills.
  • Possesses strong customer service skills, interpersonal skills, organizational skills, and time management skills.
  • Well-versed in taking telephone calls and handling stressful situations.
  • 1+ year of front desk receptionist experience or related job experience preferred.
  • Have the ability to manage multiple electronic communication platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Take incoming phone calls and respond to emails and ensure the appropriate people receive all relevant information.
  • Welcome fellow employees, clients, and visitors when they enter the building and give them any pertinent information or directions.
  • Assist with other administrative tasks, such as data entry, copying, filing, etc.
  • Communicate clearly in a fast-moving ever-changing environment.
  • Assist with online scheduling and text communications.
  • Adapt quickly to change.
  • Have a love of service to clients, fellow employees, and the pets we serve.
Compensation: $16 – $20 hourly
