Who We Are
At Gentle Vet Animal Hospital, our mission is Experience Care, and you’ll feel it from day one. Established in 1970, Gentle Vet is a full-service veterinary hospital dedicated to providing kind and compassionate care to animals in the community. We strive to give our clients the small-town experience while giving our patients the most advanced quality of care. Our leadership team aims to create a supportive work environment where you will be challenged and inspired while helping animals and their owners. We are proud to have received Low-Stress Handling Silver Certification in 2012, 2015, and 2022.
As you grow in the field, we are here to help you develop your skills and continue in the lifelong pursuit of veterinary education. Several of our technicians have formal training to perform abdominal ultrasounds and echocardiograms, while others have made advances in our dental prophylaxis procedures through advanced knowledge. Our dedicated CE budget gives our team the time, funding, and resources to grow their careers.
You’ll work in our new, state-of-the-art facility that opened in 2024, with brand-new equipment purchased in 2024 and 2025, including ultrasound, digital radiography, a digital portable dental x-ray unit, and an in-house IDEXX laboratory, along with a cloud-based practice management system.
