Pet Surgery

Surgery at Gentle Vet Animal Hospital

Our veterinary team takes every precaution so that your pet receives the highest-quality care. We perform a physical exam and pre-anesthetic testing before surgery, monitor your pet during surgery and provide appropriate pain medication to keep your pet comfortable during recovery.

Radiosurgery

Radiosurgery uses technology that causes less damage to tissues than laser or electrocautery. In contrast to traditional surgery, radiosurgery involves concentrated radiation beams to treat cancerous tissue without having to require incisions.

Anesthesia With Excellence

We monitor our patients closely to keep them as safe as possible during procedures that require general anesthesia. A veterinary technician will continually assess your pet’s heart and respiratory rate, blood pressure, and other vital signs to help prevent any anesthetic risk.

Every case has a dedicated licensed technician monitoring the anesthesia with IV fluids. We monitor your pet’s Co2 levels, Blood oxygen, Heart rate, Heart rhythm, and Temperature.

Soft Tissue Surgery

We provide surgical options in a clean and safe environment. Most importantly, our veterinary team can closely track each animal’s vital condition during surgery. Soft tissue surgery is a large subject, as it comprises any surgery that is not orthopedic. Procedures can range from simple cyst removals to complex and involved operations.

Areas covered include ear, nose, and throat, cardiothoracic, hepatic, gastrointestinal, urogenital, skin reconstructive, and oncological surgeries.
