New Client Information

New clients: A $100.00 prepay is required to hold your reservation. This amount is applied in full to your appointment total at the time of your visit.

Surgery Scheduling Policy

A current exam at Gentle Vet is required before any surgery can be booked. Plan for two visits — an exam first, then a separate surgery date. We cannot book surgery as a first appointment.

Exam and Vaccine Policy

All treatments and medical services require an examination by one of our veterinarians.

Exams & Visits

Wellness Exam — $95.50

Your dog’s annual checkup — a head-to-tail physical and a chance to catch small things before they become bigger ones. Also the right appointment for routine monitoring of stable, known conditions. Vaccines are not included in the exam price but can be administered at the same visit for their individual costs.

Consultation — $110.25

When something new is going on and you need answers. This is the right appointment when a new health concern needs a doctor’s attention.

Recheck / Follow-Up — $72.25

A follow-up visit within 45 days of your initial consultation to check how a condition is resolving. Priced lower because your doctor already knows the case.

Vaccines

Bordetella — $37.00
The kennel cough vaccine — basically a must if your dog hits daycare, boarding, or the dog park scene.
DHPP (Distemper / Parvo) — $46.10
Covers four major diseases including parvo and distemper.
Leptospirosis — $46.10
Protects against bacteria commonly found in standing water and wildlife environments.
Lyme — $56.50
Protects against Lyme disease transmitted by ticks.
Rabies — $44.00
Legally required and protects against a fatal disease affecting animals and humans.
Canine Influenza — $62.75
Helps protect social dogs from dog flu.

Diagnostics

Fecal Analysis — $53.50
Detects intestinal parasites.
4DX Test — $82.50
Screens for heartworm and three tick-borne diseases.
Wellness Bloodwork — $258–300
Includes CBC, chemistry panel, urinalysis, and may include thyroid testing.
Urinalysis (In-House) — $143.25
Evaluates kidney health, infections, diabetes indicators, and more.

Surgery

Neuter — $576.25

Includes pre-surgical bloodwork, anesthesia, surgery, IV fluids, and pain control in the hospital and at home. E-collar available for an additional charge.

Spay (Under 65 lbs) — $705.75

Includes pre-surgical bloodwork, anesthesia, surgery, IV fluids, and pain control.

Spay (Over 65 lbs) — $792.50
